The rugged peaks of the Canadian Rockies rise above a sea of evergreen forest, while a quiet pond and meadow of purple wildflowers fill the foreground. Bathed in the warm glow of first light, the landscape feels almost untouched. After days of wildfire smoke obscured the mountains, I was fortunate to capture this fleeting moment when the haze lifted and the Rockies revealed themselves once again.
